Mufasa's Dream

"Are you wachin closely ??"

This shines to be a subtle storyline of many movies , which comes under the tag of Walt Disney Pictures.
The films which we habitually  brand as "kid's stuff" , ofcourse deserves a much closer look.
The most popular "LION KING" has many  surprises for such scrutiny.

Simba , being the titular hero of this franchise, is not just left with a single purpose, and he also appears to be a minimal psychological compilation of a boy born with a royal privilege .

Scar , the uncle of Simba , a "calm before storm " temperament who stops our journey in search of a corrupt politician similie .

One cannot simply miss Rafiki, the role of wisdom in Lion King franchise , who is popular for his thought itching one liners and zen talks.

Now let me assume that I almost convinced you all , that a movie is not just to satisfy an entertainment catalogue but it has some  hidden golden eggs for us to infer with , and here is  my account of counsel which this Walt Disney picture has got to tell.

What  we gather from the entire film, has to be made a sermon on a highest mountain available , so our whole planet could hear. The love we need to share with our environment is best expressed by Mufasa , who makes this film a graphic gospel
Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.

Paying attention to the epic scene , where Mufasa lectures Simba about the circle of life , well it was not only for simba, but it was for us and our fellow comrades who share an unshakable faith ,  that humans are superior in creation.
When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass. And so we are all connected in the great Circle of Life.

A harmony to be balanced is away from the clasp of any methodology we could possibly think, this plunge of human branded potential , what we so long call as compassion
is a long lost relic, or has it been never acquired at all.?

History has coughed our excellence in a required dosage at each grade of our education, yet
I could simply concur that man has always been trying to hold the sovereign position in food chain, and he remains to be a dignified scavenger, and nothing more.

Species like Giant tortoise have walked this earth from the Upper Cretaceous period (ranges to 270 million years ) and Rhinocerous whose ancestral (Ceratotherium praecox)  fossils dates back to 7 million years, i.e 2 million years before the orgin of human beings as australopithecines.
Now these two magnificent species are drowning in number just due to the effect of their disturbed habitat. Human colonization have brought minute disturbance in environment which has shrunk the circumference of the arena of survival , for example  Monarch butterflies are an unexpected victim of widespread adoption of genetically modified crops.
A genetically modified organism has its DNA altered in a way that does not occur in nature. One way is to increase plant's tolerance to pesticides and herbicides. Opponents of GMO(genetically modified organism) as they are called , believe they pose a health risk. Monarch Butterflies are becoming extinct because of the usage of pesticides.

Our evolution has a better theatrical content to attract any extra terrestrial species to go for a fistfight with us, but that does'nt signify us as a pioneer in multi-cellular beings.
We marginally stand alone as super intelligent, just by the number of gyrus and sulcus found in our brain, and if i need to break the truth in a more brutal way, i can put forward a fact that chimpanzees alone do not compete with our intelligence, but we have plenty of surprising brainies from our old Mcdonald's farm  .

Inspite of us providing an obnoxious environment to other species,
crows share a sophisticated awareness of cause and effect possibilities that are on par with human skills, and they never forget your face.

Honeybees can count , categorize similar objects like dogs or human faces, differentiate symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes.
Fish and dogs have more mathematical ability.
Dolphins are second only to human beings in brain power.
Goldfish not only listens to music, they can also distinguish one composer from other, this pattern recognition intelligence is something similar to the faithful service handled by  "neo cortex" , the powerful segment of human brain.

As Ian Malcom our famous fictional chaotician quotes " nature finds a way...." , these sole intelligence possessed by different species can undergo an aggressive expansion in matter of decades
may either evolve or may transcend through an arduous mutation to vanquish our very old fortress ,which we have cherished for 5 million years.

There's always a giant mass of  magma ready to erupt below the earth, and there is always a monstrous jet of cyclone within the sky, it all relies on nature which acted unfair in choosing dinosaurs for extinction, and has remained lenient in the case of human all these years.  The order of nature is a majestic state of art, it has to be provided with a tough spine by avoiding some intra-environment discrimination which was not a helpful method to sustain the long lasted balance in nature.

We cant neglect an Egyptian Plover to save a Nile crocodile. Sacrificing a single rhino to save a dozen human with leukaemia is also an unethical trade to bargain, since selective species  nourishment was never a phenomena that ever functioned in our atmosphere.

By a backlash of a long term accidents and experience, humans have developed a sense to realise , that we are superior beings to inhabit this environment. That naturally coronates us to preserve this valuable cache.
We all may not be a Superman to successfully survive in another planet , after losing our own krypton(earth).
